PolyCycle PCR resin qualified on PackSys Global tube equipment
PolyCycle Innovation and PackSys Global announced that PolyCycle's certified food-grade PCR HDPE resin has passed qualification testing on PackSys Global's compression moulding tube equipment, including the noSho tube design. The qualification gives cosmetics, personal care and oral care tube manufacturers a validated PCR HDPE option to meet California's SB 54 extended producer responsibility rules, which took effect in May 2026 with full enforcement from 1 January 2027.
Why this mattersA validated PCR resin-and-equipment pairing lowers the technical barrier for squeeze-tube makers to hit US state recycled-content mandates without retooling.
