Emballator adds injection moulding capacity at Växjö closures plant

Swedish closures maker Emballator has completed an upgrade of its Växjö production hall, raising machine positions from five to eight, six of them for larger injection moulding machines. The site has also gained a larger overhead crane, AGV transport routes and upgraded cooling and compressed air systems, with the remaining new machines due online by end-2026.

Why this mattersThe added closure-moulding capacity gives Emballator more headroom to win new contracts as brand owners seek supply chain resilience in rigid packaging.
