IPAK posts flat quarterly profit as margins narrow

International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) reported consolidated revenue of PKR 11.13bn for the quarter ended 30 September 2026, up 9.2% year on year, while profit after tax was flat at PKR 705m. Gross profit fell to PKR 1.62bn from PKR 1.75bn as margins normalised after two unusually strong quarters, with a 16% drop in finance costs partly offsetting the impact.

Why this mattersExport sales nearly doubling while gross profit fell shows a Pakistani film producer growing volume abroad at the cost of margin.

  • Consolidated revenue rose 9.2% to PKR 11.13bn for Q1 ended 30 September 2026
  • Consolidated profit after tax was PKR 705m, against PKR 704m a year earlier
