Selenis acquires Polisan Hellas copolyester assets for Portugal plant

Selenis has acquired the production assets of Greece's Polisan Hellas, to be installed at its Portugal site. The deal adds continuous polymerisation capacity to Selenis' existing batch-based manufacturing base and will lift its total specialty copolyester capacity to more than 200,000 tonnes a year by 2028 across Portugal, Italy, Tunisia and the United States.

Why this mattersAdding continuous-line capacity gives Selenis a lower-cost route into high-volume shrink sleeve and film grades, competing more directly with larger resin suppliers.
