Pyramid Technoplast wins approval to recycle 960 tonnes of industrial packaging waste a year
Indian industrial packaging maker Pyramid Technoplast has received an amended consolidated consent and authorisation from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board to collect, store, transport and recycle up to 960 tonnes a year of contaminated industrial packaging waste from third parties. The same approval permits manufacture of up to 9,000 cleaned drums a month, alongside existing plastic-granule reprocessing capacity of 1,000 tonnes a month. The permit lets the company sell decontamination and recycling services to external chemical and pharmaceutical customers rather than handling only its own output.
