Uzbekistan considers USD 76m glass container plant with China's Qingdao Rongtai
A USD 76m project to build a glass container plant using processed quartz in Uzbekistan's Navoi region has been considered, with China's Qingdao Rongtai Glass Products as partner. The plan foresees three stages, the first starting within a year and full capacity within five years, with output for the domestic market and neighbouring countries. Investors are still assessing local market capacity and demand for glass products.
