Somang Glass launches cosmetics glass containers with 60% recycled content

South Korean cosmetics glass maker Somang Glass (SMCG) has introduced a new glass line containing 60% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material, certified under the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). The announcement was made on 18 September 2026, covering bottles and jars for perfume, skincare and decorative cosmetics; production volumes and supply geography were not disclosed.
