Romania clears Islambay's acquisition of Sterk Plast

Romania's Competition Council has cleared the acquisition of plastics packaging company Sterk Plast S.R.L. by individual investor Suleyman Islambay, who already held a stake in the business. Islambay also holds interests in Ecofriend Recycling S.R.L., a Romanian recycling and collection company. No transaction value or further deal terms were disclosed.
