ITA develops 30% lighter agrochemical container approved by Syngenta

Industrias Termoplasticas Argentinas (ITA) has developed a 20-litre agrochemical container weighing 780 grams, cutting plastic use by 30% versus standard market containers, and the design has been approved by Syngenta for use in Argentina. The launch follows other plastic-reduction packaging Syngenta has introduced, including a 1,000-litre IBC container said to cut plastic use by 95% and a three-layer container launched in 2024 with 30% recycled content.
