Tricel Honeycomb buys PCA's Verticel paper honeycomb business
Tricel Honeycomb has acquired the Verticel paper honeycomb manufacturing operations, brand, trademark and customer list from Hexacomb, a division of Packaging Corporation of America, in a deal that closed on 1 October 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed. Tricel, based in Gurnee, Illinois, began producing Verticel products immediately after closing to ensure uninterrupted supply to existing customers.
