ALPLA and CCL Label develop stackable PET can to rival aluminium
ALPLA and CCL Label have jointly developed a 0.33-litre stackable PET beverage container designed as an alternative to aluminium cans. The container can run on existing PET filling lines, uses no internal BPA-containing epoxy coating, and is decorated with CCL's detachable EcoFloat shrink sleeve to support bottle-to-bottle recycling. The companies point to EU bisphenol restrictions taking effect from July 2026 as a driver for beverage makers to consider the format.
