Chongqing pharma packaging maker starts 24bn-unit smart plant

Chongqing Shoujian Pharmaceutical Packaging has started production at a smart manufacturing base in Fuling, Chongqing, with annual capacity of 24 billion units: 12 billion pharmaceutical bottle caps and 12 billion pharmaceutical straws for oral liquids and similar dosage forms. Production data feed a Huawei Cloud platform for process control, and each batch carries a digital trace record. The company says it supplies more than 400 pharmaceutical companies and exports to over 20 countries.
