Greif sets FY2027 adjusted EBITDA floor at USD 645m after Q4 EPS rises 50%
Greif has guided to fiscal 2027 adjusted EBITDA of at least USD 645m, about 3% above fiscal 2026, and adjusted free cash flow of USD 290m, and raised its annualised cost-savings target to USD 150m from the USD 105m achieved by the end of fiscal 2026. Fourth-quarter adjusted Class A EPS rose 50% to USD 0.87 on lower interest and tax costs and buybacks, while adjusted EBITDA fell 3.1% to USD 163.0m against a prior-year quarter that included a USD 18.2m incentive accrual gain. The outlook assumes flat volumes in three segments and a low single-digit decline in metals.
Why this mattersGreif's floor assumes no broad volume recovery: acquisitions, closures and cost savings, not demand, carry its 2027 earnings bridge while industrial end markets stay weak.
