RENOLIT invests EUR 56m in automated mixing plant at Worms headquarters
German films specialist RENOLIT is investing EUR 56 million in a new automated raw-materials mixing plant at its Worms headquarters, where plastics, colour pigments and additives are weighed and blended before film production. Earthworks began in February 2025, structural completion is due in December 2026 and start-up is scheduled for June 2027. The facility will use automated guided vehicles, 37 weighing stations and six computer-controlled mixing stations, with heat pumps providing heating.
