Sappi agrees leverage covenant relief with lenders through December 2027
Sappi has agreed with its banking group to extend the suspension of leverage covenant testing on its international revolving credit facility and bank term debt from March 2027 to June 2027. Lenders have also set stepped-down leverage covenant levels applying from June 2027 through December 2027, and Sappi said it will keep discussing terms beyond that date. The agreement was announced via JSE SENS on 25 September 2026.
