Sappi launches PFAS-free grease-resistant label paper
Sappi Europe has launched Parade Face Edge, an 80 g/m² one-side coated semi-gloss face stock for self-adhesive labels that resists grease at both surface and fibre level without added PFAS, halogens or wax. The paper targets food, beauty and industrial products exposed to oils and is positioned to help converters meet Article 5.5 of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.

- Target uses include olive oil, sauces, dairy and delicatessen products, beauty oils and creams, and industrial lubricants
- It is suitable for direct food contact and available in FSC Mix Credit and 100% PEFC-certified versions
