Schott Pharma and Nemera launch combined self-injection syringe system

Schott Pharma and Nemera have launched a passive safety system pairing Schott's 5.5ml syriQ BioPure prefillable glass syringe with Nemera's Safe'n'Sound safety device, targeting subcutaneous self-injection of large-volume biologic drugs. The companies say the pre-aligned platform is already available for technical assessment and compatibility studies, and will be shown at CPHI Milan and PDA in early October 2026. They describe it as the first such combination built around a 5.5ml prefillable glass syringe.
