Silgan raises 2026 EPS guidance as Q3 net income falls despite higher sales
Silgan Holdings reported third-quarter 2026 net sales up 2% to USD 2.04bn, mainly on pass-through of higher raw material costs, while net income fell to USD 105.0m from USD 113.3m a year earlier; rationalisation charges rose to USD 17.1m and acquisition costs were USD 10.3m. The group raised its full-year 2026 adjusted diluted EPS guidance to USD 3.83-3.93, from USD 3.73-3.93, and reaffirmed free cash flow of about USD 450m. The results follow Silgan's USD 3.4bn agreement, announced earlier in October with American Industrial Partners, to acquire Trivium Packaging.
