Storopack sets 2035 target for renewable and recycled materials
Storopack has set a target of 85% renewable or recycled content across its product range by 2035, citing EU packaging waste regulation and customer decarbonisation demands. The German protective-packaging group reached 54% in 2025, up from 49% in 2024, against a 50% target for the year. Its R&D site in Anetz, France, which supports the Molding Europe foam-packaging division, is central to the push.
Why this mattersLifting renewable or recycled content from 54% to 85% by 2035 sets a substantial material shift for Storopack, including its expanded-foam business, as PPWR rules apply.
