Vitro moves to delist from Mexican stock exchange
Vitro, the Mexican glass container and flat glass maker, has called an extraordinary shareholder meeting for 13 November 2026 to vote on a tender offer for its shares and the cancellation of its listing on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores. Shareholders holding about 95.79% of outstanding shares have already agreed to vote for the delisting and will not take part in the tender offer.
Why this mattersWith 95.79% of shares committed to the delisting and staying out of the tender, the offer concerns only the remaining minority and would end Vitro's public reporting.
